Information For
Exhibitors & Presenters

Our sixth Greater Vernon Holistic Healthfest will be held on Saturday & Sunday, April 6 & 7, 2013. It is a unique event in that holistic health practitioners partner with the town on a fair of this nature. The feedback from exhibitors and attendees at our earlier fairs has been enthusiastic. See Photo Album of 2011 Healthfest. The information on this page will give you an overview of our plans.

The response this year has been enthusiastic. As expected we filled the workshop slots by our January 18 early due date for applications. We are also sold out for exhibit space. We have a lengthy Waiting List for Saturday, but are just starting one for Sunday if you would like to be added.

Overview

Family friendly environment in the cafeteria area.

The Vernon Youth Services Bureau and Conscious CT invite you to participate in our sixth holistic health fair. The purpose of the fair is to educate area families about natural health alternatives, holistic modalities, and services available regionally. The fair will feature workshops, demonstrations, a raffle and two exhibit halls. It is intended to be a showcase for local centers, practitioners and artists. You are invited to participate as an exhibitor, vendor and/or workshop presenter in this unique opportunity to reach area residents. Through our advertising and publicity we draw visitors from well beyond Vernon. Exhibits will focus on health and wellness, with vendors offering gifts, crafts, and artwork. For massage and energy work practitioners we'll provide a quieter area for those that prefer it. Spiritually oriented area artists are also welcome. Approximately 1,400 people, including participants, attended our two day 2011 Healthfest. For more information see our list of Frequently Asked Questions.

Workshops & Demonstrations

Sorry, workshop positions are full.

There will be about 38 presentations and demonstrations, of 50 minutes each, taking place in classrooms.

We welcome your proposal for workshops and demonstrations. The emphasis is on education and the focus is on children and families.

Presenters will be selected representing a range of modalities and topics; preference will be given to those not promoting products. Audio/visual aids are the responsibility of the speaker. There is no cost for exhibitors and a $25 fee for non exhibitors.

Exhibitor Information

Exhibitor space is full for both days. The Wait List for Saturday is lengthy but Sunday's Wait List is still short if you would like to be added.

There will be 82 9' x 8' exhibit spaces available. Exhibitors may sell products and services, although the town reserves the right to review and approve products.

The cost for an exhibitor space for both days is $100 for informational booths where nothing is being sold, and $150 if anything will be sold. For a single day the costs are $60 and $85.

Fees are payable with your application. Only a limited number of spaces have access to electricity. Exhibitors will be provided with one table with a tablecloth, 2 chairs and a sign with your business name and table number. Setup is from 8 - 9:45 a.m. Food will be available in our Café. Exhibitors are expected not to leave before the advertised 4 p.m. closing. Since the focus is on health there will be no readers or religious groups.
